Since coming to ITP I have developed a real interest in museums and how they engage with their visitors.

In Spring 2009 I was an intern in the PR department of the Tenement Museum in NYC’s Lower East Side.  I worked on sound editing their weekly Tenement Talks series.

In Fall 2009 I took Nancy Hechinger’s Cabinets of Wonder class at ITP, where we learned about interactivity and communication within the museum setting.  My final project for this class was advising the Museum of Chinese in America on a proposal for collaboration amongst Chinatowns in the NYC area.

Currently I am the ITP intern at Human Rights Watch, working on the use of social media within the Women’s Rights Division.
